The world we live in today is highly digital. Every traditional process is replaced by computers. Information is stored in computers and databases. Internet connectivity helps transfer the information as and when required across places around the globe. Most of the businesses can be conducted online. All the business meetings are now focused on delivering presentations to capture and portray information to key stakeholders. Even in schools and colleges, presentation skills is among the most taught skills in computer education. One of the most important requirements of any presentation is readability. Readability is how the information is presented on the screen and how legible the information is.

Another important thing to consider in readability is the text size or the font size. Font-size determines how big or how small the text is displayed on the screen. Key important information should be displayed big enough such that it captures the notice of the audience. The information presented in big size is perceived as important. Hence, Headings and Highlights are presented with a bigger text. Similarly, general information in paragraphs is presented in a normal font size. Any information which is additional is presented as a subscript in a foot note. The font of the foot notes are in size smaller than the rest of the font.

Different font sizes can convey different meanings about the importance of the text. The information that is well presented will be well perceived by the audience. Hence, we need to carefully consider the font sizes while preparing a presentation.

One of the software available in the market to prepare and deliver the presentations is Google slides. Google slides is a part of Google’s Doc Suite Software. Once you reach your location, you can switch to a laptop and continue working on the presentation. All the changes that you have made will be synchronised across all devices. It is available as an application that can be downloaded in all mobile phones Android, Windows, iOS software.

Google slides is also available as a desktop application on Chrome OS by Google. Google slides is compatible with Microsoft’s power point software. That is all presentations created in power point can be opened in Google slides and further editing can be done.
